MATFlawless is a DJ and music producer whose career began in 1993. Based in Italy, he has built a solid reputation in the electronic music scene, performing in numerous clubs across the country and collaborating with well-known national DJs. He has also had international experiences, including performances in Spain.
In the 1990s, he worked as a sound engineer for a radio station, sharpening his audio production skills and deepening his understanding of music and sound design.
His journey into electronic music production began in the late ’90s with the release of his first techno track.
Since then, he has remained consistently active, producing music in a variety of styles including trance, techno, house, dance, drum & bass, and their subgenres.
One of the milestones in his career was earning a certification from SAE Institute in Milan.
This experience provided him with advanced production techniques and a deep knowledge of cutting-edge audio technologies.
In the early days of his DJ career, MATFlawless used the legendary Technics 1210MK2 turntables and a Gemini mixer with a built-in sampler—tools that helped shape his distinctive style.
As technology progressed, he integrated Pioneer CDJ players and mixers into his setup, pushing his creativity further and delivering increasingly immersive performances.
He was also the co-founder and co-owner of ArhythmiA Records, a Sheffield-based record label that gave a platform to emerging artists from around the globe.
After a 10-year break from the music scene, he returned with renewed energy and, in 2023, founded Astralis Records, continuing the legacy left by ArhythmiA and paving the way for a new era of artistic expression.
Over the years, he has built a fully equipped professional studio, using high-end gear to produce music across a wide range of electronic genres.
He’s also collaborated with other artists and remixed various tracks, always infusing them with his unique touch.
Among his most notable projects is Murder of Crow, an experimental band blending techno-industrial with metal influences. As a co-founder and remixer, MATFlawless added electronic elements and reworked live components into final studio versions. In 2023, the band reunited to release their final work—three new tracks—closing a chapter with style and emotion.
