I am a DJ and music producer, known as MATFlawless, with a career that started back in 1993. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience working in various clubs and venues in Italy. I have had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned national DJs and have had some experiences in Spain as well.
In the ’90s, I also worked as a sound engineer for a radio station, honing my skills in audio production and expanding my knowledge of music.
I began producing techno music in the late ’90s and released my first single. Since then, I have continued to produce electronic music, with a particular interest in genres such as trance, techno, house, dance and their subgenres.
Throughout my career, I have achieved significant milestones in music production. One of them was obtaining the certification as an Electronic Music Producer from the SAE Institute in Milan. This course provided me with advanced skills in production and the use of cutting-edge audio technologies.
At the beginning of my DJ career, I used the legendary Technics 1210MK2 turntables along with a Gemini mixer with a sampler to create my unique sets. These tools played a crucial role in defining my distinctive style.
As technology advanced, I incorporated Pioneer CDJ players and a mixer from the same brand into my setup. These state-of-the-art instruments have allowed me to explore new creative possibilities and provide increasingly engaging musical experiences to the audience.
Moreover, I was one of the co-founders and co-owners of ArhythmiA Records, a record label based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The label has provided a platform for different artists from around the world, enabling them to express their creativity and release innovative tracks.
After a pause of about 10 years, I made the decision to return to music production. Currently, I have several albums distributed on numerous specialized websites.
In 2023 I founded Astralis Records to continue the work that ArhythmiA Records had left off.
Over the years, I have built a fully-equipped production studio and used high-quality equipment to create electronic music across various genres.
Specialized in producing tracks in the genres of trance, techno, house, dance, drum & bass and related subgenres. Additionally, I have experience in remixing tracks by other producers, adding my personal touch.
In addition to my solo career, I have collaborated as a co-founder and remixer with the experimental music band Murder of Crow. This project combines elements of techno-industrial and metal, where I contribute by incorporating electronic sounds and remixing, adapting the live components to the final result. The band consists of five members scattered across Europe and the United States, together we have created a unique musical experience. In 2023, we reunited to make our last work together, three new tracks, farewell my friends.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion for music with worldwide audiences. Always seeking new challenges and ways to expand my artistic expression, I continue to learn and strive to offer my best to engage people around the world.
